Mid-Level .Net Developer Job Description:

DNI is currently looking for a Software Developer to join our team at Air Logistics Center (ALC) located at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City.  The candidate will be primarily responsible for designing, developing and maintaining web applications, must be self-motivated, have strong communication skills, have the ability to work with a development team and have experience with paired programming.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into intuitive software solutions
  • Participate within an Agile (Scrum) development team
  • Collaborate with fellow IT and software developers while building knowledge base
  • Participate in technical design discussion and hands-on solution implementation

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High energy, proactive and approachable personality who enjoy solving diverse problems
  • Proven problem solving abilities and creative thinking
  • At least 3-4 years of Software development experience with C# or Visual Basic
  • Experience using jQuery and JavaScript
  • Experience with the following technologies: C#, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, CSS, Bootstrap, and JSON
  • Ability to positively interact with all members of development team and have paired programming experience.
  • Thorough understanding of object oriented development
  • Self-starter capable of working on small teams
  • Experience working with Oracle or SQL Server
  • Familiarity with developing or working in a Windows environment (Visual Studio, TFS)
